Miracleleaguect.org is a non profit volunteer organization that is working to build a fully accessible baseball field for children with physical and or cognitive impairments. The full plan also calls for an accessible playground and restroom facility. The field will be located in West Hartford CT. The project also includes a handicapped and sensory playground. We are proud to have granted this organization's wish at our Be a Hero cycling event.

A local softball team in Kansas was in need of assistance for their first tournament as a team. This team is consisted of 12 girls around 8 years of age. The Kansas mother wrote to Wish Upon A Hero for some assistance in new catcher's equipment for the team's first tournament. A local hero, Stephen Ortiz made a $100 donation through Wish Upon A Hero to this softball team so that they can buy the equipment needed to start their first tournament as a team.
