I wish my daughter could get a foot brace
January 6, 2011
As any parent knows, buying shoes for your child is never-ending process as they are in their growing years. A mother of three in Michigan had a unique situation when it came to her daughter's growing feet. Her 3-year-old little girl was born with clubfoot and not only does she need new shoes every time she hits a growth spurt, she also needs a brace to fit her foot. Due to the expensive cost of the particular brace her daughter needed, and her lack of insurance to cover the cost, this Michigan mother turned to Wish Upon A Hero with a request to help meet her daughter's need. Wish Upon A Hero Foundation rose to the request of this mother with a donation of $100 toward the cost of a new brace for this little girl.
